Hello I just listed my 1st. batch of dutch auctions yesterday and would like to get some opinions from other sellers are the worthwhile or not? Thanks for any help or comments.

The Dutch Auctions were a lot better deal before the last eBay fee increase. Before the latest hike the FVF was paid on the total of all sold Dutch items. The new FVF set up is a FVF based on individual items final amount. Example: seller has a Dutch Auction for 10 items that ends at $9.95 each. The total is $99.50 and the old was had the seller pay a 2.5% of that total for the FVF. The new setup has the seller paying 5.25% on each individual item that sells so while other FVFs barely went up the Dutch Auction FVFs oftentimes doubled.
Now you see a lot of 10 identicle auctions in a row while searching on eBay as the Dutch Auction is far less popular. With the single auctions a seller can hope for a few mutiple bids on some of the auctions and scatter the items in different categories and different days and ending times. The sellers with printer cartidges and bubble mailers will always need the Dutch Auctions but most other sellers can forego their use.

Thank You for the comments bidsbids It makes a lot of sence. I just checked my auctions. and had 2 bids on 2 different items. one item had 1 sold and the other item had 6 bought by the one buyer. 5 more days to go.
