Anyone know how you can safely remove glued-down postcards from paper backing in old album?

I have one such album, nice old photo cards glued down on one side only, so only about 1/4 amount of each card is adhering to paper backing.

There is a product called "GooGone" I use it to take stickers off of china & ceramics. Try it on one card & see how it works. Usually have to let it set for a couple of minutes/ It really loosens up the stickum.

Use steam from a teapot and when they come loose put the postcards glued side on a piece of wax paper and put a piece of white paper on top of the postcard and then put a book on it to keep it flat untill it dries out all the way.

hubby uses a blow dryer and it seems to work on anything. once the glue is heated the postcard or sticker should come right off.
