HELP! Had an item close on Sunday. i email the bidder a EOA, then it comes back as invalid. I noticed his ebay email is at bigfoot, but the returned email shows up as a cvn. Then on Monday, the bidder does a checkout. So again, i emailed him at the bigfoot email, and again it comes back. i then tried contact info, and his number is invalid. then today i get this via question from a ebay member....
--------------------------------------------It's been 4 days since the auction closed. My e-mail has not been acknowledged
to date by the seller. I need to be contacted by the seller by the 23rd of June
so I can pay for the dvd.
If the seller is ill or away on vacation or having computer problems, I
especially need to be contacted by him, his family, or a representative. It's
rather bothersome to be kept hanging. Negative feedback will be entered after
the 23rd of June and I'll consider this transaction null and void.
-----------------------------------------

this is pissing me off! This bidder is a zero, been a member since dec 1999, hasn't bought/bidded on anything in a month but my DVD, yet seems to know checkout, and how to ask seller a question, yet doesn't realize his email is invalid? What should i do, i have 500 plus, and I don't want my first negative from something that my hands is tied on! Can someone help?

Report his invalid contact info and eBay will NARU him. Or, if you have his address from Checkout, look him up on People Search and see if you can get a valid phone number. Those are all my brilliant ideas for tonight.

Good luck!

Hi mypostingid, I did check him up at the phone book, and he doesn't seem to exist. Maybe he isn't listed?

have you tried the "send this auction to a friend" way? this has worked for me in the past.

If that doesn't get through to him, then report his false info to ebay and let them NARU him.

Good luck to you.

hi, well I reported him, and I not only clicked his name so I can email him thru ebays, but alsosend this auction to a friend thing, and still nothing. He emailed just a couple of minute ago, saying IF I dont respond to him in 30 hours he WILL leave negative feedback! I am at my wits end! Is this guy for real?

That is weird. This may be one of many ID's he created to screw with sellers? Since he seems to know ebay, and registered since 99, looks like its at least a second ebay ID

When he wrote did you reply on top of his original email?

NearTheSea, he keeps emailing me thru question for seller, and the oddest thing is, his email is bigfoot.com, yet when I send him emails to it, it comes back returned, but the return mail show that his email is instead cvn.com is no good.

Well he's changed his email address but hasn't told ebay. So there is no way to get in touch with him.

I've found some users who change emails, but claim that ebay then demands a credit card to letthem change, they don't have one so they don't do it.

eBay will NARU him and if he gets the neg in before then they will probably remove it. There are many ways to get revenge on a seller for a possible bad deal in the past. You're lucky this possible vengeful buyer isn't too sharp.

I had a similar problem and it was my ISP email that didn't get it to my bidder. what I did was send through PayPal a invoice. Maybe you can do that also. Did he use Billpoint or PayPal? I tried everything but nothing worked and that is frustrating. Now when you send your invoice that should have the correct address on it.

Hello Ironking,

Keep us posted regarding this matter.
Hopefully ebay will 86 this clown on the spot.

Or... you could, set up one of those free emails like hotmail or yahoo, not sure which are free anymore... if you feel for some reason your emails are being blocked by his email service, but it does sound like it is invalid, since he doesn't seem to be getting your email through the ebays 'send this auction to a friend' I surely hope ebay does get rid of him!
