Hello, I have a customer that requested a JPG file and he has an AOL account.
When I send the file, I use the INSERT PICTURE option; with all other IP email services, the customer opens the email and sees the JPG. with AOL, this doesn't seem to happen.
I dont have an AOL account; what do I need to tell my customer to see these JPG files. thanks!

I think you need to send the jpg as a subset to your letter file. At least that is how I do it with MSN. This seems to work just fine. Another thoughtIs he on a Mac or PC. My cousin is on IMac & we can't exchange pictures. Haven't figured out how.

Send the jpg to yourself to make sure it isn't corrupt. If you receive it in fine shape, tell the AOL'er the problem is at their end. They may just not be seeing the symbol for the attachment, may not know what to do if they do see it, or they just don't want to open it.
I guess the firt question to ask is "What happens when you try to view the image?" "What message are you getting?" And take it from there.

There are two different AOL mail systems. One is the regular mail when an AOL user connects to AOL and the other is the web based www.aol.com mail system. The web based system is not as elaborate as the regular AOL mail and images are not often displayed in the body of a letter but should be viewable if sent as attachments.
