Read an announcement this morning that ebay is going to give us BOLD feature for one day only at $1. instead of the normal (i believe) $2. charge.
I always thought that BOLDing a listing was a waste of money. I think this is going to give ebay similar (or worse) results to that of their FREE GALLERY day.

Frankly, I don't think I should pay for a listing and then have it 'buried' among other bolds. It is like they are forcing me to spend a buck to bold, just to make my ad equal in visability to the others. And I can't afford to bold $10-$20 items- it adds 5%-10% to my costs!

I'll never understand what makes BOLD cost extra,it's not a big bid getter.
That is why I always use the gallery,for .25 it's the best deal.

I usually find what I want to find/buy on eBay with a search so bold plays no part in that search. Even if cruising a category I treat a bold listing the same way as a non bold listing. eBay's stats on Bold Listings such as Bold items have shown to increase final price by an average of 39%!* may be based on higher priced items getting more bids over lower priced items.
I consider bold and gallery both a waste of money.
