Hi, I have read several threads regarding shipping calculators for the USPS. Is there an easy interface for FedEx Ground where one just enters the zip code (and perhaps weight)?

If you have an account with FedEx, you can get a rate chart & a Zip code chart based on your Zip Code. It gives you the Zones, you put in the weight & Voila! there is your cost. It is not computerized, but a 10yr old can work it.

My point was to provide my buyers the ability to check the shipping rate since only the zip code it will be shipped to initially.

Don't forget to add in the cost of the FedEx Ground 'extra services'.
Such extra services as having the driver sign your customers names at the end of the day for all the packages he didnt have time to deliver.
Extras like dealing with customers who call up every day wanting to know why FedEx didnt deliver thier package, but the tracking number says 'delivered' and shows someone signed thier name.
Extras like having your packages delivered 5 days after they were 'signed for' in the FedEx system.
Extras like the cost of FedEx stonewalling on any and all insurance claims becuase they have 'a signature' on file for the package when they know da** well its standard policy for drivers to sign for packages to make delivery times look better than they really are.

You just sound bitter. I have FedEx and UPS deliver stuff to my house all the time. I can not recall a single incident where any such thing has ever happened -- not saying that doesn't happen -- but my experience thus far is very different from yours.

When I said "FedEx", it means FedEx Ground, Express, International Express. They are very prompt on Saturday deliveries too.
