I have an international package and the buyer wants insurance. I can't seem to find a price for insurance on the international site. Can someone help me? Thank you!!

On some counties it isn't offered even though there is a To add special services such as insurance, select one option above. notation. I just tested the international postage calculator for Canada, Algeria and Albania and there was no insurance offered for Albania. That might be it?

the minimum is over 50 dollars,so use the blue slip.
dunno about albania,but with most countries,they will take it to the local post office and file claim there .

robert is correct. Many countries you will not be able to purchase insurance. I believe that Mexico is one of them. Though personally I have only insured an international package a handful of times and all the countries I shipped to so far are insurable, I do know this is not the case for every country. Go to your PO and ask them if it is. They will know for sure.

The folks at U-PIC offer international package insurance, but like USPS, certain countries are excluded. Might check them out...
