I had a bidder win 2 of my auctions to the tune of over $60.00!! what really got in my craw was that she outbid others to win these items!! I check out her feedback and noticed she received negatives from other seller's due to the same nonpayment habit. I contacted those sellers and found out that one has asked for FVF - I requested mine today on my two auctions - WHY WASN'T SHE BEEN NARUED???? Do I have to contact EBAY? I have blocked her from my auctions - she isn't going to bother me anymore - but I would like to protect other sellers from this bozo! Her excuse from nonpayment for over 30 days 1. her email was down for 30 days (she works at a library!) 2. Her cat had Major surjury. Those poor kitties sure do go under the knife a lot!

***AN ASIDE***
The third seller - an ebay powerseller - who also left a negative - when contacted by me had no idea that ebay had a NONPAYMENT PROGRAM for refund of ebay fees! Perhaps Ebay doesn't NARU those bad bidders so fast because a good number of sellers do not request their fees back! Only the sellers are the losers - Ebay has their fees.

That's nothing ... one of my recent "winners" decided not to send me payment for her "win" ($14.00) as her family had all been killed by terrorists. I filed a NPB thing and left her a simple "non-paying bidder" feedback. You should see her response to the feebdack! A very nasty person indeed

the 3 fvf have to be filed by 3 different ebay sellers in order for her to be narued.

as for the email thing being down and her working at a library... i dont know about other libraries but not one library in this city allows you to check email from their computer. not saying that verifies her non payment just mentioning it. going to the library to check email is not always an option.

i had a buyer win over $80 worth of my auctions and never paid. claimed that her husband had been arrested for the rape of some neighborhood child and she needed the money for bail (sp?). i was extremely appaled that one would use such a lie.

oh one other thing... HOW DOES A POWERSELLER NOT KNOW ABOUT FILING FVFS?!

In my experience most public libraries have computers for people to use. I don't think it would be very difficult for her to use one of the public computers before or after work. Seems pretty reasonable to me!

I was pretty shocked to find out that a powerseller didn't know about nonpayment program also. But, if I didn't regularily read these great posts I wouldn't know 1/10th of what I know about ebay selling because of all the wonderful auctionwatch posters.

WOW, punksushi; you should talk to the librian in charge, that is first I had ever heard of that. I have used library computers many times to check email while travelling.

Your tax dollars are paying for those computers to be there.

"not one library in this city allows you to check email from their computer"

I know that our library allows emails and anything else on their computers because the Libraries are owned by the city and they can't put blockers on them. Some people complained that users were looking at porno sites and and they said they couldn't block them.

(punksushi)~You mean you can't go into MSN or YaHoo? What on those sites should be blocked. What you need to do is input your main email into the Yahoo or Hotmail email address that you have and then you can get your mail. (keeping my fingers crossed) I hope that is right.
