Java is not, nor has it ever been allowed in Ebay auctions with the exception of a few preapproved scripts by third party services. They have tightened it up even more in the last week or two. They have outlawed certain tags which were causing problems. Most of the problems such as yours stems from the Paypal logo. If you are using one, delete it and get one of their updated logos.

The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.

Were these auctions that you made awhile back and now decided to launch them? or are these re list type auctions that you have been doing for a long time over and over. If the answer is yes to either. Start from scratch making them all over again. Yup, that's what I finally ended up doing. There is something in the mummble jumble in your auction but I can't figure out what to take out so I was finally convinced. Just do them all over again. Believe me I know the pain.

Thanks, Guys.

It must be the Paypal logo. Now I am using an old one, but when I checked on Paypal, the logo still has Java script.

You would think Ebay would have eliminated that if they are not going to accept it.

These are all newly created auctions, but I used the old html for the logos, so that is my problem.

So today I will try to get it right.

Thanks again,

eBay disabled use of the eval script which was until recently used for the PayPal smart logo.

I was wondering if anyone is still experiencing problems uploading their auctions onto to ebay. I am still trying to upload my auctions, but not able to due to the javascript incompatibility. I don't have any Paypal logos in my auction. Except the logo that Paypal automatically 'adds' after it's been uploaded. Is there a new version of Auction Manager Pro that I'm not aware of that's compatible with ebay's new Javascript policies? Help!

I had a headache with this, on Saturday. After not finding answers to my questions, I started playing on my computer. The only thing I can suggest is what I did. I went to one of my auctions, right clicked on the source and saw where it stated I had java script. I spoke to my husband who was out of town and he told me how to clear this up.
I use netscape, so I went to my preferences and unchecked the Java Script. I also have a firewall and went there, to options, to advance options, and found my ebay and auctionwatch settings and undid Java and Java applets. While I was there, I also discovered that I could stop those annoying pop up ads. I hope this helps someone, as I had no one to explain it to me and I am computer stupid. It was not hard and also helped me to understand.
