My mom bought this covered candy dish in Germany in the early 1950's. I searched "porcelain" but couldn't find anything that came close. Can anyone help identify the maker/pattern? I'm including a photo of the dish as well as the mark stamped on the bottom. Thanks for any help...as usual!

Hi ~ I just found it in my book ~ Kovel's Know Your Collectibles
It has a picture of the same symbol just like yours and says it is Royal Bayreuth. Was founded in 1794 in Tettau Bavaria

Hope this helps

The company is now called Royal Tettau, Been in business for 200 yrs. Believe it or not there are many porcelain cos. older. Meissen goes back to 1630. I question this being Royal Bayreuth. Have never seen this on any Royal Bayreuth. Of course I may be mistaken, but I am never wrong. LOL
