Do you know anything about NASA space photos? I found a box of these at Goodwill. They are beautiful 8.5" by 11", with the description stamped on the back, and each one has a transparency of the photo attached in a small envelope. Most seem to be of the space shuttle.
Any idea what their value might be? Should I sell them singly or as a lot, or just hang on to them? There are about 30 photos.

NASA gives/gave away tens of thousands of photos to employees, visitors, etc. every year. I'd try selling them as a lot but don't expect very much.

I work at the Michigan space and science center and we do get boxes of them as give-aways. The only ones worth putting up as single photos are pre-shuttle, Mercury through Apollo although Shuttle pilot photos sell well. A side note; If any are signed it's a 99% chance that it's an autopen, NASA does this on a regular basis. If it were me I'd lot them by mission (STS number on reverse)
Good luck with the pics

Thanks for the info. You guys are the best. I guess I'll save the photos for scans. My kids will probably get a kick out of them in a few years.

I work at GSFC and I used to process Crime Scene photos in a Crime Lab, too. Yes, they give away lots of NASA pictures but, it looks like you have the negatives that go with the pictures. At least, those "transparencies" that you show in your photo remind me of the negatives I used to process from our medium format camera...
