I have been getting them too. More and more every day. I use Yahoo for my email. I had some extra time tonight and I looked at the header. The few I have recently received look really weird. The From address is always different but it always has [email protected] in it somewhere in the headder. the " Look below:
Return-Path: <[email protected]>
Received: from 205.152.58.32 (EHLO imf12bis.bellsouth.net) (205.152.58.32) by mta614.mail.yahoo.com with SMTP; 03 Nov 2002 16:43:49 -0800 (PST)
Received: from Zule ([66.157.35.33]) by imf12bis.bellsouth.net (InterMail vM.5.01.04.19 201-253-122-122-119-20020516) with SMTP id <20021104004528.XQCU13979.imf12bis.bellsouth.net@Zule>
and on this email the from shows up as:
From: "marthawashington" <[email protected]
The from is always different but the
[email protected] stays the same.
the size is 146 K
I think Yahoo caught a bug before it reached me.
Any other thoughts on this??? It is very perplexing and very frustrating to delete these strange emails every day that clog up my limited space yahoo email box

I've gotten then too, Norton Anti-Virus always snags them and I delete then from my inbox and then from my trash can.
I thought they were a retaliation of sorts from the 30+ people I've nuked in the last three weeks -- but now it seems to be something bigger -- maybe someone is targetting eBay sellers, or eBay in general.

I have been getting 2 to 4 per week. There may be more, I think my Norton security is catching most of them. They always run from 129 to 146KB. After I opened the first one & Norton AV popped up & screamed VIRUS at me, I just delete anything over 100KB, regardless of who sent it.

This is the virus attachment that has been going around for several months. Yahoo and Earthlink catch the virus on the way in and detach it, which is why it is blank. If your mail comes into Outlook Express however you may have a problem if your Norton Anti Virus is not current. I update Everyday after the virus destroyed my computer in a matter of minutes. Check that your anti virus software is updated more often. I no longer use Outlook Express and prefer that the ISP catches the virus first. The rule of thumb is never open an attachment from someone you don't know, however the new virus can infect your computer without you opening the attachment which is why Yahoo and Earthlink are nailing these bugs before you get them.
