Is it just me or is anyone else having a problem with "I sent the payment two weeks ago"...I will resend if you didn't receive it. I have had at least 5 people use that excuse in the last week. The best one yet though was the customer who told me she used old stamps and it was returned to her and she had resent it. This auction ended on Dec 27. Excuse me, but I thought unless stamps were cancelled it didn't matter how old they were. Thank you for letting me vent!!!!

She could be referring to old first class stamps that no longer cover the current postage charge so the mail was returned to her with Insufficient Postage. I used to do that all the time when I wasn't paying attention to postage increases.

Maybe but I have just received another email from the same person stating they sent cash..(no mention of the old stamps) and I still don't have it.

i am in texas and i sent a package to michigan where there is no weather problem and it takes like 14 days first class mail.

Much to my embarrasment, I got back a payment I sent for an incorrect address. Yep, I left off a digit. Thankfully it was a seller I'd bought from before but still...And it took two weeks to get back to me!

I'm still waiting on a few checks that are "in the mail." It's been almost 10 days. I usually wait 2 weeks and then I start emailing them again. I know from personal experience that I've put an envelope in my purse to mail only to find it days later, still in my purse. The weather is really lousy in some parts (I live in one of those parts) so I would take that into consideration. It seems the only mail that gets anywhere quickly is Priority anyway.

I had a check mailed to me on the 3rd and... it never arrived. It still hasn't arrived- anywhere, thanks to Tracking I can see that my buyer is telling the truth. Yesterday she sent out a new one- same method. Ijust hope it doesn't fall into the same black hole...

well, you know, when that old north wind is blowing, it's mighty hard to treck your way to the Back Forty where the Big Barn is.. then you gotta catch the Grey Mare, hitch her up, drive into town to the Internet cafe...
In the summer of course, it's a different story. Unless it's haying time...

We have been having a major problem with the check is in the mail bidders, Auctions closes on the 16 of Dec got the payment last Friday date on the post mark 12 Jan date on the note 2 Jan says the first one was lost. Another one ended Nov 27 WBN sent out, Reminders and then Ebay reminders then I filed for fvf that got a response from them, told me they have been out of town and they thought they paid, they were pretty upset by the language of the later from ebay
