I have the wrong picture showing up on one of my just-launched actions.

My question, how do I find what the URL is so I can post it on the revision page. I copied what it showed in the 'address' bar, but that didn't work.

Yes, yes, I know this is elemental - but what can I say.

Thanks so much,

what i do to insure i get the whole picture thing right is to add the right picture to the auction (image hosting) on AW (this adds the pic to the bottom of the auction..then I go to the listing, "revise the item description" and copy the whole spiel after "On January 23 the seller added the following:"... THen I go up in the description to find where the wrong pic was inserted and delete it and then paste the right description...i look at the preview to make sure it's right..delete the "seller added part" at the bottom so I don't have 2 pics..maybe seem complicated but it really isn't

Thanks, I do understand what you are saying - but I don't know how to get to the right 'place' through AW to add the new picture - using the drop-down method.

This isn't using the drop down method but it works! :

go to the "image hosting" tab at the top of this page (2 the left of "community" tab. You will see all of the images you uploaded..put an x beside the one you want to add and then go to the top of the page and select "attach" to the auction...the next page will let you choose "ebay" and existing auction" ..on the next page you input your ebay user id and password and item # and voila!@ it is attached!

Well that was news to me.

I must have been doing it the hard way.

I would write down my AW name for the old (incorrect) picture, delete it from my AW image hosting and upload the correct picture with the old picture name. That's the name your ebay auction recognizes for it's attached picture.

Your don't have to go into the ebay auction at all to make the switch.

wow ewora! i never thought of doing it that way - though usually when i post the wrong image i have used an image twice, once for the right auction and once for the wrong one but i'll remember your idea-LOTS easier!

Thanks folks,

I have the correct photo attached, but can't seem to get it to be the primary photo.

Tommorrow I will try again - it's getting late.

Thanks again, I learned something.

Can't you go into 'revise your auction' look at the hotmail that AW adds before your description, and change the wrong ________.jpg to the one you meant to use? (Maybe I'm not getting your question straight. Its only 3am!) Make sure you do this two times (once for the auction pic size and right below within the same html paragraph for the enlarged pic) If you only do one it wont work at all.

This works for me. Hope it helps

Thank you one and all!!

I did it! Not sure just how as I did some of it in the wee hours of the morning.

I did not realize the picture link was in two places, so I kept getting 2 pictures.

Finally, discovered the URL at the beginning of descriptions just changed 'lathe' for 'bows' and there it was - everything right as rain.

Thanks all, again.
