I was just about to add a right click blocker to my descriptions and thought, "Are Java scripts allowed".

Thanks

No. A lot of sellers have the right click java script on their auctions and it is not strictly enforced. Be aware that if you use it, they can end your auction at any time. If you use a bargain basement type of script and they feel it is interfering with their site operations, you can pull a permanent suspension.

The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.

It is against their TOS, but if you turn anyone in, you will get a canned response of "They need the Java Script to keep others from stealing the photos."

I have turned in many and always get that response. So go ahead and use the Java Script. You will be fine.

Rayneman, you (like most people who ask questions here) are better off going to the ebay site and reading their rules and policies... because both of the answers here are wrong.

Only two types of Java scripts are disallowed by ebay, those relating to cookies, and to redirects (replace).
