OK - now I can speak with authority about DUMB bids!!! Tonight while I was in the midst of an online bridge tournament my husband came into the room very upset and said "what can I do?? I meant to bid $13.25 for an auction and ended up bidding $1,325!!!!!!!!!" I asked how much time was left and he said 6 mins...You can imagine what I said!!! Luckily the auction ended at $22.00 but he sure sweat bullets until it was over!!
Last week he thought he was bidding on stamps and ended up buying postcards with PICTURES of stamps on them!!
I am pulling his bidding priveleges!! He is getting his own ID and I am changing the password on mine!
Anyway...just wanted to reiterate that even seasoned bidders (he has been on ebay for years and long before me!) make honest to goodness mistakes no matter how many clicks you have to go through!

Hear hear!
As my dear departed father used to say, "Nobody's perfect except you and me, and sometimes I wonder about you." We need to cut people a bit of slack. A bit, not a lot. No point in being total suckers.

Tell me, just how old is Hubby? If he reaching my age, it might be a sign of old age. Or too much Vodka as it has been in my case at times. When you reach 75 anything is legal!@!!

Is he always that quick on the trigger, or does he actually think first sometimes? LOL!
My hubby pulls those tricks all the time. He is only allowed on my computer if I am watching him!

Thank goodness My hubby NEVER gets on the computer, I would be in BIG trouble if he did LOL. It is hard enough with him in the real world {shaking head}
He bought some items from a supplier and they came in the other day and "He said What the heck was I thinking when I ordered these ???" He was shaking his head. LOL

Mine can't operate the remote for the TV so I know I don't want him on a computer. I make enough screw ups for both of us. Sometimes I don't think I'm safe trying to operate in the real world.

Some of these posts in this thread from the ladies make it sound like they own a troublesome pet instead of being married to a spouse.
