Is there such a thing as being too honest? This is the opening statement in aucton; (blows my mind

WELCOME TO MY NEW AUCTION SITE. AS YOU CAN SEE I HAVE A FEW NEGITIVES. THE CAUSE OF THESE NEGITIVES COME FROM SELLING GLASS ITEMS. I GUESS I AM THE WORST PACKER WHEN IT COMES TO GLASS. I HAVEN’T SOLD ON EBAY FOR ABOUT A YEAR. I WAS SEARCHING FOR THE PERFECT AUCTIONS FOR ME, NOTHING THAT CAN BREAK OR CHIP.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=11022&item=2688965151

Then she has her FB private, so you cant even judge for yourself if it was glass or not. I'd like to see how her auctions do. We see if theory Jack has about people not reading works here! lol

My money is on jack. People will still bid on this sellers auctions and then cry afterwords.

One dumb way to start one's tos for this "seller"...honest but dumb. Good for a laugh.

I think those two clipart milk cow images are dumb too.

What percentage of ebay sellers are losing money? 10% - 15% - 20% ? this has to be one of the poster children of the money losing ebay sellers group.

I like the part that says they are not set up for shipping out of country, coming soon.

Like they need to put an addition on their house or something before they can do it!

Damz, you would think that someone selling fragile items would learn to pack them properly. I sell china & I had a piece broke last week, the first in over a year. I was really pssst as I really packed it well. I swear to the gods that FedEx played drop kick with the box. If you pack the piece well & make sure it won't shift in the box, it should go through.

Maybe dumb but stats what the problem was and hopes he will succeed. He/she has a very lenient TOS and that should help. They give 15 days for payment and a 15 day return polity. It also seems like they found items that won't break when mailing. I understand the frustration in packaging glass or china. I get nervous as I never know how much bubble wrap to use. Or if the USPS will either drop or throw my package. I envy sanmar. He seems to get that china to his buyers in A1 condition.

Obviously, it's her tribute to her spongiform brains!

Now shut-up & pass me & Ralphie another Deep-Fried Cow-Brains Sandwich!

Yummy!Yummy!

Capy, I think some people have their own idea of whats chic decoration in their auctions. lol.

Libra, I noticed that, too. 15 days if you dont like the item? That sure is opening yourself up to alot of headaches. And her shipping is way cheap. I wonder if somebody told him/her to make FB private? Glass and breakables are a bit** to pack, so, I might grant a pass based on that, if I could see what the negative FB's said. But with the fb private it sounds like a scammer trying to sound 'too honest' lol. (But I bet newbies will probably bid on some of those auctions anyway.)

i accessed her auctions, and actually saw piece sterling i liked, and shipping is CHEAP.
I EMAILED HER and asked for explanation of her f/back; and told her i was not interested in just the net number, i.e., 17 negatives, but rather what/how they came about..her replay[REPLY] was:::
----------------------

"All my auctions explain my feedback. Read the first paragraph.
Thanks, Diane"

----------------------------
and yeah, her two bids are newbie and almost newbie..

I think the private feedback thing only becomes a real factor on expensive items a buyer may want to buy, at least to me it does.

..right, auctionA, but what if the feedback reflects something else, rather than clumsiness/other ineptitude in wrapping...i can think more serious reasons to hide her negitives, than "I am the worst packer."

..i mean, most adults should learn before making the same mistake 17 times...i have had two broken[1/china & 1/glass] shipments in four years...i used that stuff called insurance..helps immensely when somethings gets broke..

Those are red flags alright and I would only consider bidding on a very low value item from this seller. This seller should start a new ebay ID but apparently lacks the extra credit card or knowledge of starting a new ID to do so.

I wouldn't consider bidding on any of her auctions because I would most likely get a better deal from fluffythewondercat or another seller.

You can use the same credit card for each ebay ID you register.

yeah, it seems starting over fresh, especially IF there was a fresh attitude,, would be better than dragging that dead albatross around..
