Is anyone having trouble getting the category numbers on eBay and Vendio? eBay has taken them off of the Site Map and Vendio sends you to eBay who only gives leaf numbers. If anyone has the answer, let me know, please. I need to be listing.Thanks.

Someone else here has had trouble with the categories lately and it was suggested he/she go to the Vendio board to see some other postings about the problem (SalesManager board).

I am having the same problem. If the Vendio look-up does not work anymore where is the list from eBay?

Hi all,

I've been typing listings today and I'm not having any problem. The category list loads when I'm in the Create page from my Sales Manager tab.

Are you guys using some other page I don't know about?

When I was using Vendio I remember that one of the most irritating things was how painfully slow the catagories loaded - when they loaded at all. My solution was to open a different windowand do an ebay search for a similarnite and grab the catagory number from that listing.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

As to your responses, the Vendio still does not work anymore. BUT, I figured out how to use the eBay category look-up, the the day is not lost so far. We will see at 9:00 PM if the auctions get listed.

Hi all. --- if you have trouble at Vendio opening the ebay categories page, I might suggest try using the internet with a different browser. This usually solves that problem.

Another alternative is to list from "pending auctions": Copy an existing auction and that will send the auction to "pending"...copy it a couple more times and then go to "pending"..you can totally modify the auctions and choose categories, detach wrong pics and add right ones etc. In fact, I have found that listing from "pending" is much faster than listing from "create auction" screen and I always get a category tree.
