A friend wrote this evening to say that she had neglected to update her eBay address and when she bid tonight, she got a pop-up telling her her address needed to be changed.

This is the first I've heard of an effort by eBay to crack down on bad addresses.

Note that she was still able to bid, at least that time.

Old news. Ebay has done this for a year and a half now. It actually has more to do with asking people to update if they haven't. Hopefully this person really does update it.
