I wasn't even thinking about this being a Holiday weekend and scheduled some auctions to end today. I won't make that mistake again! They should of done better than they did.

Who are you kidding???

You and I BOTH will be back here claiming the same thing NEXT 3 day holiday weekend lol

Ever since I finished high school where every single day-off-school holiday was treated as a religious holiday I can't keep track of them.

Heck I had a great night! 100% sell thru...

...of course, I only had two auctions ending and they both went for the opening bids. LOL

I think ending tomorrow night will be much better than ending today. Of course, I picked up some great deals today on eBay. I should have paid double. I guess it works both ways.

I was surprisingly pleased with my auctions...I'd relisted a batch of items that hadn't sold previously...a couple were relisted for the 3rd time. Half sold...and a few for more than opening...

I usually don't do that bad on holidays but this one wasn't so good.

I didn't end any last night--figured people would be away.

I did have 5 auctions end Friday night--of which 3 sold.

I have 5 more auctions ending tonight,in about ten minutes. So far, four of them have sold.

LOL dejapooh! So sorry. Didn't mean to take your name in vain.

Somebody remind us next holiday the week before. I know Thanksgiving doesn't sell well (but I love to buy!)

Never occurred to me it was a holiday weekend!

Twelve closed, four sold. One (oh wow!) had more than one bid.

Jeeze...

100% sell through here too.

Prices were down until the last few seconds when the vulture, sorry, snipers moved in for the kill. Suddenly prices were back to averages for these items.

I didn't close any auctions this weekend. I do have pictures of what I did do though.

Ewora...Why the heavy clothing? It got up to 96 degrees today. The pictures are great, but the scenery is sadly lacking in smog, haze, soot and dust. We have plenty here in California and we are willing to share. You need to throw a few beer cans and other assorted trash along those roads so California tourists will feel at home Seriously, I envy you. I spent the summer in Ketchikan in my younger days and have kicked myself in the butt ever since for returning to California.

The temperature was in the mid 50's when the sun came out. So it got pretty cold when you were whipping along the trail. The pictures are in a canyon but we climbed up to about the 6000 foot level before we descended into the canyon. It was pretty breezy and cold up top.

My face is sunburned as that's the only body part that saw daylight.

Picked up some fossil rocks along one of the creeks. Pretty neat.
