I have been home sick all week. Sales are slow and I get this cute email letting me know they will not be paying me for a $200 item because their boyfriend doesn't like it. Not the kind of news I wanted to wake up to this morning. Heading back to bed...

I wonder how happy she will be when E-Bay throws her off for not paying for auctions she bids on. If she's going to do everything the boyfriend says, she better get off of E-Bay and start her life as a whipped pup LOL.

"they will not be paying me for a $200 item because their boyfriend doesn't like it"

Sounds like nothing but a drummed up LAME excuse on the buyers end -

Sorry for the seller--hope you had a decent bid prior to this deadbeats and can offer it to the next highest bidder.

At least they e-mailed you so you can start the FVF process sooner.

Oh!!! I just realized that if eBay really wanted to be underhanded, and I've heard on this board that they really make their money on listing fees, not FVF, and now they have this no-fault "oops, no sale" way of everyone backing out -- the seller doesn't get the listing fees, just the FVF back, right? Ebay can make money by having drones bid and back out. All day long. Yeah, a far fetched conspiracy theory.

Update. I kindly explained to my bidder Ebay policy. She says she didn't know blah blah blah. I offered exchange the item she won for something else. Now she says she will pay right away. NO payment yet.
