Since they don't have any telephones they admit to, and customer service is limited to 3 part time high school kids and 6 inmates on a work release program, what do they have to outsource that even the dumbest Indian would be interested in?

Amazon, Dell, AOL and tons of accounting firms are outsourcing to India as well. Did you know that thousands upon thousands of tax returns are being sent to India by accounting firms for completion? Do you want someone in India doing your tax return? It wouldn't surprise me if eBay is doing the same thing. In India, these people in call centers are paid about $300-$400 a month. I watched a training video of these people being taught to speak like Americans with no accent and they've given themselves American names all in the interest of fooling the American people. Like they said in the video - it about money. Good old American corporate greed. My comment? Until these jobs are brought home, I think people need to get on the backside of these companies and bring these jobs back home where they belong. You should all know who you have to thank for this.

I'll stop now because it's getting close to a RoundTable topic.

eBay - you should be ashamed of yourself. I don't want my sellers' fee money going to pay someone in India.

eBay has a responsibility to provide a profit to thier shareholders, besides some people have been clamoring for a Global economy but I guess those were only words...

I also know that many corps are bringing back some of their call center work and dell is one of them...

Would you be willing to pay more fees to eBay to make up the difference?

Besides do you know that to work in a call center in India you have to have a College Degree?

Visit a call center here... ask how many have any college...
