Hi, all. Just got a notice from Quill, sort of an odd offer of a beach pail of candy with two boxes of bubble envelopes. Offer comes in several different sizes. I don't have time right now to find out how many envelopes in a box (not given in the ad) or to research whether this is a good deal, but I thought you'd all want to at least take a look at it.

Have you any of you ever tried Bubblefast on eBay? I buy all my envelopes from them. Even when you add in the shipping, they're cheaper than any store. Delivery is usually withing 3 days.

I use a lot of bubble envelopes. I buy them by the case. It's hard to find them that cheap or by the case in a store.

Quill "offers" like this one, where you get some sort of gift for buying, are designed to appeal to the purchasing manager who is buying supplies with the corporation's money (and who has a boss who isn't paying close attention).
If a gift is offered, you can pretty much assume it isn't a good deal for you, the small business rodent.

I'm sure you're right, iareateacher. Investigating the "offer" further, the per-envelope price is not so good. And WHO NEEDS a bucketful of candy!???!
