Helen - that description would not happen to contain the word "Chic" anywhere would it? Many people are now splitting the words up in order to be included in "Shabby Chic" searches without having their auctions pulled on a VERO violation.

Ya, she does own it. Just like Trump is trying to own the phrase "You're Fired". So far it's a no go on that one. Paris Hilton is out there doing the same thing. Pretty soon there will be few words left to describe anything.

I can't remember exactly. I was watching a program on the subject. There were a couple of other famous rich people who were trying to cash in (so to speak) on common phrases. Ya, she's a winner, isn't she? She's now going to trademark her name and she's applied for the rights to all kinds of products from kitchen gadgets on up. Like she needs the money. Spoiled.
