For regular auction-style and Fixed Price Parts and Accessories listings, the insertion fee will be capped at $0.50 for all items with a starting price above $9.99 on the U.S. Motors site (www.ebaymotors.com). All insertion fees less than $0.50 will still be charged at the normal rate. For more information about insertion fees during this promotion, please click here. Listings created prior to September 14, 2004 which are scheduled to start during the promotional period (September 14, 2004) will be eligible to receive the promotional rate. The promotional rate does not apply for eBay Motors vehicle listings.
All other fees (such as transaction services fees and all other optional listing upgrade fees) will still be charged. More information about upgrade fees can be found by clicking here. Not true. $40.00 to list a car. $40.00 FVF no matter what it sells for. And this promotion doesn't apply to cars or trucks. Only parts and accessories.

Listing counts are flat...not rising like they usually do at this time of year. I expect we'll be seeing more promos soon.

stonecold613, I stand corrected. eBay profits greatly from both Listing Fees AND Final Value Fees for car auctions.
Too bad the promotion only applies to parts and accessories, not vehicles.
