I brought this up because at the TOP area of your MY SUMMARY page E bay has that exact line. It's purely for their OWN self interest that they promote, Teach others how to sell on e bay. Teach others so e bay can collect MORE fees. We all know how e bay thinks,,,,MONEY! for THEM.
I sarcastically laughed when I read it. Self interest e bay at it again.
Have a great day all.
NOW GET out there and LIST! and quit wasting time on these BOARDS, e bay does NOT make MONEY while yer over here! LIST! LIST! LIST! Snaaaaaaaap! Get those fees rolllllllin' in.

Ya know, before eBay #*!@ me out, I taught half a dozen people How to sell on eBay. Before they stepped on me, that is. The interesting part is that only one of them continues selling, and he only takes balance or checking account through Paypal now! Their reasons for stopping run the gamut of problems covered in other posts. How many people have others gotten up and running? How many still in it?

I showed a friend how to compete with me... Same stuff too... He has to give me 25% of his gross... Plus, if he has a good sale, I get the Second Chance Offers. So far, I am up about $600 in 2 weeks.

Must be a nice profit margin to give up 25% gross...That works great as long as the friend is willing to pay up though. One of the reasons I have been resisting hiring a helper is I don't want to teach someone too much about what I do. I would definitely accept a consulting job on getting someone set up to sell on ebay, but no way would I tell them anything about what I do - Only how to get set up with some sort of product that they need to come up with.
