This just came to mind from the FAKE money Order thread.
I thinks it's worth saying so therefore I will. Thank you.
All Honorably Discharged Vets Are Eligible for a Tax Exemption for City Business Tax license fees.
There is a Federal Law # , I forget it now City Hall has it on file. Some Cities make it real simple and some will act like you are out of your mind. Pay the $150.00 or you can't sell at the local swapmeet. Pusue,,,,,and you WILL recieve this exemption. Cities are NOT Happy granting it as they get,,,,what? Nothing. One City memeber was just about the shake my hand after me waiting Two hours for them to admit, Then she just dropped her hand as she realized they just LOST funds.)
I'm not shy, City of Huntington Beach,,City of Paramount. Paramount took TWO months.....
City of Cypress,Grants it in a Heartbeat. Thank you!
City of the BIG A ( I can't for fear say their name) is adoment about denying those Federal benefits. I gave up fighting them. the BIG A City LOVES their Vets. They also have a BIG D as a landmark.
Discharge papers, Retired I.d. Cards are Proof. Bring everything you have as proof. A V.A. card may or may not offer any proof. (to them). You EARNED that Exemption,Use it!

The U.S. Marine Corp is over 200 years of romping, stomping, hell, death and destruction. The finest fighting machine the world has ever seen. They were born in a bomb crater, their mother was an M-16 and their father was the devil. Each moment they live is an additional threat on your life.
They're rough-looking, roving soldiers of the sea; cocky, self-centered, overbearing and do not know the meaning of fear....they are fear.
They are a green, amphibious monster made of blood and guts that arose from the sea, festering on anti-americans throughout the globe. Whenever it may arise, and when the time comes, they will die a glorious death on the field of battle, giving their life to mom, the Corp, and the American flag.
They stole the eagle from the Airforce, the anchor from the Navy, and the rope from the Army. On the 7th day, while God rested, they overran His perrimeter and stole the globe......they've been running the show ever since.
The live like soldiers, they talk like sailors and they slap the hell out of both of 'em. Soldier by day, lover by night, drunkard by choice....Marine by God!

Jack: You mentioned Huntington Beach. Have you been at the swap meet at Golden West College? (Our daughter's family lives near there, and I've always wanted to check it out--but once when we passed it, it looked like a junk meet--clothes everywhere, etc. Is it worth going to, buying at, or setting up a table?
