I put 20 auctions on on Thursday night. I still don't have the confirmations from eBay. The auctions are up & running, even have a couple of bid, but no confirmsation sheets.

I don't know if you let your email stack up like I do(over 300 unread messages in my inbox) but, be sure and check back on the date that you listed them. I have had some come in several days late with the notice neatly placed as if they had sent it right out.

Ebay is apparently going through another email glitch. Same thing going on with my email not to mention I am getting paypal notifications of payment there were made last week. These are duplicates though and was confusing at first until I figured it out. Sometimes ebay world is a little upside down while living on drugs, bad drugs at that.

What do you do with the confirmation anyway? I opt not to receive them - TOO much junk in my email already!

I use them as the double check to see if I messed anything up. (Such as forgot the Buy It Now or one to many zeros in the price.)

Here's a funny one. I have two bids on an auction item, but NO hits!!!! How could that happen?
Talked with an architect recently who knows a computer geek in Silicon Valley. Geek said he'd gone to help repair something computerish at Ebay a couple of years ago and could not believe how patched together, Rube Goldberg style, their system was. Maybe that hasn't changed.

A lot of what is in there are notices that an auction has ended with or without bidder. I go through about once a month and clean house. Also, my mother tends to go nuts at times(20-50 emails in one day). Links to articles that she found interesting, forwarded jokes, and forwarded advertisements(Don't ask). Anything important gets put in the proper files each day. If you think my email is bad, your should see my desk! However, I can find things faster on the top of my desk than I can in the file cabinet.
