Can anyone identify the maker/pattern of this small divided bowl? It has 3 sections and has a hob nail pattern on the outside. The small globes on each section are opalescent. Thanks for any help. I've been told these may date from the 1940's...is that correct?

I'm not a glass expert but had some pieces like yours. I'm pretty sure it's called "Moonstone" and could be Fenton or Anchor Hocking. Lots of pieces listed right now. Here's one that's close - Item #3753184320. Just do a search in glass under moonstone.

It looks like opalescent hobnail to me....I don't know the maker but maybe someone like Max will come along and say for sure...I agree it could be Fenton but I'm surely no expert.
Edited to add:
Heres one just like it .... if this seller is right then it is Fenton

GeneralFunds had it right, it's Moonstone by Anchor Hocking. It's called a "bowl, cloverleaf" in Gene Florence's book Collectible Glassware From the 40's, 50's 60's.

The pattern is Moonstone by Anchor Hocking circa-1941-46. It would go in the Ebay category Glassware of the 40's and 50's.
