I listed an auction about thirty minutes ago and upon clicking it I found I needed to use a horizontal scroll bar to see the pictures. I listed two auctions and one was fine. Has anyone else had this problem? The pictures were lined up vertically on the right hand side. I checked it with Firefox and IE. A few days ago someone had this problem with horizontally lined up pics.

My eighty cent solution was to end the auction and relist, but does anyone know of another way to cure this while the auction is in progress. It's kind of irritating to just give eBay $$$$$$.

you can swap your pictures out for something smaller (smaller pictures) by renaming your news pics the EXACT same name as your old pics. Delete the old pics, upload new pics.

Pictures are the only thing I've ever seen that make the scroll bar appear. It could be font but that you can change by editing your html in Ebay.

glassgrl, I don't think it was the pictures. The first time I loaded it I used three pictures I was going to load in the second auction. I then used the eBay preview and saw the scroll bar but thought it might not view that way when loaded. I put in the proper pictures and then launched. The next auction used the original three pictures I had used incorrectly in the first auction. The second auction loaded correctly.

I then reloaded the first auction, the one that had the scroll bar and when I saw it looked OK I cancelled the first auction. ByeBye eighty cents.

Thanks for the hint about swapping pictures but it is something I've done a few times already, sometimes just to add text when an auction has already been bid on and I want to make sure the message is seen.

I'm thinking maybe it was just a glitch in the system. Thanks for your input.

glassgrl, sorry about that. I even got mixed up writing it. I'll try to simplify it.

Basically I loaded the same auction twice but the first time it showed the scroll bar. After I loaded it the second time, I then cancelled the first auction. I hope that reads better.
