How would you respond to this besides the usually? and does anyone remember the link to ebay's auction bidding is legally binding bla bla bla? Don't give me grief about not accepting paypal. I know the pros and cons and I refused to be railroaded into using it. My auction description has the payment methods accepted clearly stated.
I copied and pasted his email to me below. I am soooo TIRED of this.
"im new in this area all i do isa pay pal payments,im sorry i really cant help you on this item . you should of wrote detail on payment... thank you any way."

If you stated you do not accept paypal
then tell him to go and read you terms of service again or if you only stated your terms than you bidder never should have bid.
I honestly don't think non paypal users have to say that in their payment terms. It is up to the buyer to either ask a question or not bid.
Good Luck

Thanks Libra, Yes, I always mark those kind of terms very clearly in it's own paragraph:
Payment accepted in the form of: money order, cashier's check or a credit card can be used through Bidpay.com. I do not accept Paypal, Paydirect or Billpoint electronic payments.

Then you have it covered. You can't help that buyer can't read. Tell him to put his glasses back on and read your terms of service. Tell your buyer you will let them out of the contract if they send you restocking fees.
I hope starting in January buyers will get some education and learn how to bid. It almost seems like a no win for a seller.

After reading the copy of the buyers email, I'm not sure he can read Enlish. All you can do is be very clear as to your TOS. Of course unless the bidder reads the entire TOS, it really doesn't make any difference. I put in red letters, "I do not accept personal checks" & still on occasion it happens.

Well what I do is:
I accept paypal ONLY......they bid and then email me saying they never used or want to use paypal, send me your address. So just to get this over with as soon as I can I tell them:
Well I understand you don't use paypal, but what I don't understand is why you bid on my auction when it states, I ONLY ACCEPT PAYPAL, but just send me cash because thats the only form of payment I will accept if you don't want to use paypal, or you can forget about this transaction.
Now in your case tell them: I stated in my auction that I dont Use or accept paypal, so if that is the only way you want to make payment for this auction, (SINCE YOU DID NOT READ MY PAYMENT METHOD, THAT STATES I DON'T ACCEPT PAYPAL), then I will file for my fees from ebay and state you didn't want to follow the terms of the auction. All this could have been avoided if you would have read the Payment terms of the auction.
So please send me a personal check or money order or I will need to file for my fees from ebay for a transaction that was not completed because the buyer didnt follow the terms of the auction.

I sent this creepy buyer the email a few days ago and haven't had a response. Is it true that I have to wait 7 days to file for the FVF fees and relist? If so, this is CR$P
