I sold a nice glass bowl on Dec 14th. It got two bids so the winner out bid another bidder.
I didn't hear from her after a couple of days so I wrote her and told her that if she needed it for Christmas I would need to ship by xx date. She wrote back saying she didn't need it for Christmas.
The next week I was leaving for Christmas with my family so I wrote again on the 22nd requesting payment prior to my leaving on the 24th. I know she got my email as I have a "received message" reply. Nothing
Got back on the 27th - still nothing.
I started the NPB and immediately got a reply that she would pay. She emailed me asking for parcel post & ups shipping rates. I quoted all that as well as FedEx.
She replied yesterday afternoon
"For the slight difference it is not worth the hassle. I will pay as is." Helen
No problem - I enjoy quoting 4 different shipping method for each item!!!!
She knows I am leaving tomorrow night for a week's vacation but she still has not paid. I am considering making an offer to the next high bidder but they probably wanted it for a gift.
I'm beginning to think she's just trying to tick me off now. She has 600 positive FB so she's not new at this. It was a pretty expensive item and to be honest I could use the money while on vacation!!!!

If she responded to the dispute on the console and not just through e-mail, you can file for the FVF now. If you do, more than likely she will pay today. If she does pay, you can have the strike removed.
Don't leave feedback first though.

No, you don't have to wait. Once they respond you can close it and use the reason "I no longer wish to wait on this buyer."

Call me a fool but I just sent another polite email requesting payment today. If that doesn't work - I'll just file tomorrow.

I have had a winning bidder that has emailed me every day since last Wednesday telling me the cashiers check is being mailed "today". She probably bid on and won more items than she had the money for, ya' think?
