Happy New Year Everyone

Ralphie...Since you are so far away, I'll just blow you a kiss at midnight. Make that 2 kisses. On for your time zone and one for mine.

Be kind. Everyone is fighting their own secret battles.

Do people shoot guns where you live to "ring in the new year"? They do here and they've already started.

Bringing in the New Year with 3 teenagers (2 are guest) , 3 kids under the age of 9 (1 is a neighbor) , a visting Mother-In-Law, and a husband working on a "project" outside. 2005 looks pretty interesting!!!

Ditto on the Happy and prosperous New Year!!

Cherished - not where I live but they do where I am headed this evening and the BP vest clashes with my shoes so I'll be in the bar all evening .

Stay Safe!

Happy New Year to the eBay Outlookers!

My husband and I are spending a quiet night in front of the fireplace with a bottle of champaign.

Here in Baltimore the police have announced a crack down on shooting guns to celebrate. Seems the bullets can fall and do a lot of damage.

Hope everyone has a safe and joyful evening and a great new year!

It is glossy paint and cleans up well. We do not have a lot of fires except at holidays and there is not much smoke from the fireplace.

And here I was thinking what a smart puppy Ralphie is! Now I learn he can't tell a real fire when he sees it! Have him call my dog Lacy and she can tell him that she was stretched out in front of it and it was a real fire burning on real logs.
