I got a question this morning from a buyer about an item ending tonight. I replied so my answer would show on the auction page. It hasn't shown up after 1 hour.

Is there a restriction on answering questions from buyers within 12 hours of auction closing? If so, why would Ebay allow the question to come to me? Any clues?

Roadsmith...My guess is that since the 10 cent listing day auctions are ending tonight, Ebay may have disabled some non critical functions to make more capacity on their servers. This will be the busiest day of the year for them next to the listing day itself. They used to disable part of the search function on FLD for this reason.
