I use 75% 'photo quality' on the JPEG software on my Sony Mavica for use on eBay pics.
Just wondering if anyone uses less than that on eBay with good results.
Using less quality would reduce the overall JPEG size file here on Vendio, thus allowing more images without exceeding the limits on the particular account I have, but I don't want to degrade photo quality too much.

My pictures are between 20k and 38k. Right click on your picture, choose properties to see how large they are.

Yes, each of my eBay photos is about that same size, I'm just wondering if I went to say 60% or 50% photo quality with the Mavica software, whether the photos would still be good enough to view on eBay, but might save me some overall jpeg file size on Vendio.

Well, if nobody else gives you the answer, you could always post one to Vendio and check the quality.
Mine always seem to look better after posting to Vendio than when I first see them after downloading my Mavica.

Does your software allow you to change the image dimensions? I have a sony, but I don't use their software. I almost always make my auction pics no wider than 400 pixels. I think you can also change the image size in the camera, as well as adjust the image quality, which you're already doing. You need to reach a sweet spot between loading time on the page and loss of detail. I for one won't bid on an item that has fuzzy pics. The pic below is 400 wide by 303, and was saved for web using Adobe Photoshop. It's only 18K.
