Hey All-
Quick question, If I list (IE) 9 widgets running standard auctions, and have 20 of the same widgets in my Ebay Store using only the BIN feature is this "AOKAY"?
I have a unscrupulous competitor who "Stalks My Auctions", looking for anything that even remotly resembles a listing violation.such as the Multiple 10 rule
Thanks,
RC

I think the 10 max. items only refers to auction style listings~not store items. I have many of the same store item running and have never had a problem. I think it has to do with clouding up the search engines with too many of the same items.

Multi-listing
Know your limits
Multi-listing occurs when a seller posts more than 10 listings for identical items. The best method to list identical items is through our Storefront, Fixed Price or Multiple Item Auctions formats. Although there are reasons to list identical items at the same time, enabling a single seller to list too many identical items at one time hurts the buying experience.

If a seller lists in more than one category, the categories must be relevant. Any additional identical listings will be ended. The insertion fee will be automatically credited for ended listings. Sellers may not register multiple User ID's to list more than 10 identical items.

Due to the nature of general admission tickets, sellers that list general admission tickets in the Tickets category may list up to 20 identical listings.

I believe the 10 rule only applys to 10 seperate auctions running at the same time for the same item.
You can run any number in a Dutch auction.
You can run any number in a fixed price format
You can run any number in a store format.

Not quite. You can run a dutch auction with as many items in it as you want.

Fixed price rules are the same as auction. Limit ten unless running as a dutch listing.

The store format is ten as well unless running it as a dutch listing.

If you need to have more than 10 identicals listings of the same item take a hint from the bubble mailer sellers.

Say you have a standard 6" x 10" bubble mailer

The typical bubble mailer seller has it listed a dozen different ways

1 case 6" x 10" bubble mailers LOW SHIPPING

1 Case 6" x 10" bubble mailers PERFECT FOR JEWELERY

1 case 6" x 10" bubble mailers PERFECT FOR CD'S

1 case 6" x 10" bubble mailers PERFECT FOR SMALL ITEMS

ETC As an example

I tried the "Bubble Mailer", methodology approach etc....they still took them down? If some one wants to nail your azzzz on Ebay...chances are with a little work they will succeed
