First of all I would like to say hello, I havent been in here in a few months. Maybe someone can help me figure out who made this old pitcher and if it's worth anything?? Its about 7" tall and 5" across with moderate crazing and unmarked other than some type of firing symbol on the bottom
Thanks!!

Sure. It's a yellowware pitcher, with Rockingham or Bennington type glaze; some people call these spongeware (incorrectly). Ca. last quarter 19th century. Used to be quite desirable, but fallen out of favor of late, should sell on eBay for $20-30 these days, depending on condition.

I know the Yankees could use a good pitcher

Baseball season has started, but they have it all wrong.3 strikes and you're out,4 balls you walk.I can tell you right now a man with 4 balls could not possibly walk
