I think I've lost my mind.
A couple of days ago, I successfully added some photos hosted on Vendio to an existing eBay listing using the IMG HTML tag.
Today, I'm trying to do the same thing BEFORE I launch a listing. My listing preview is not displaying the photos. Rather, a placeholder that says the image is not available.
I've double and triple-checked the IMG code, etc., and cannot figure out why it won't display.
Can you only add images to the body of a description AFTER the listing has been launched?

No - you should be able to add to the body before launching with HTML code. Are you sure the code is right? What code did you use - maybe someone will see what is wrong.
Edited to add: Are you listing through Vendio or ebay direct (my answer was for Vendio but I assume would work with ebay direct too)

Yeah, my html was correct.
Thanks folks. I've decided that it isn't necessary to embed the photos in my description since I can display them on the site using a Vendio template. Duh. I hate being a newbie.

Julie: If you haven't launched the auction yet, just click on it and at the bottom you can "unlaunch" it. Go back into it then and pick the new pictures out of your list of pictures on the auction listing page. That's what I do in a case like this, but I only learned this about a year ago!
