Ok, for me, it's unusual. Here in a bowl, yes, a bowl and not a plate is this drawing. I think it was done with a marker. Looks familiar but don't know who and how can I find out who drew this. HELP HELP HELP
Anyone have any links they can share would be GREATLY appreciated

He really looks familiar, but for some reason I am thinking he's a political figure. All I can tell is the bottom 20-3-78 numbers are a date March 3, 1978 - but after that I am stumped.
Weird that it was done with marker - I've never seen that done before. Does the exterior of the bowl have any design or color on it. Any marks on the bottom?

Yes, there is a mark on the bottom but it's so darn blurry. Here is what the bottom looks like.
I'll try to scan the plate. Maybe it will come out better but it will still be blurry because that is how it really looks like
Here is a blow up of the mark on the back of the plate, oops! I meant bowl. Can Anyone translate this?

I can't read oriental marks and Kansi characters as well as stopwhining and Cheryl, and I don't recognize this one. Hopefully one of them will pop in to help.

I don't think it's "78" -- It looks closer to "98". The signature looks like "Pl_g_z". Maybe this will help some ...

Looks like '98 to me as well. Most of europe and asia put a line through the 7. Can't read the mark at all. Too blurry. The drawing is cool. Hopefully, it wasn't put on a blue and white bowl that's old and might be worth money. The drawing doesn't look Asian at all to me. Familiar face, though.

Marker? How about an impromptu after-dinner sketch by a talented unknown? The bowl looks like a Staffordshire Blue Onion variant in your photo. If the mark is that fuzzy, could it be a recent repop or Family Dollar special?

Very good, the last 2 characters stand for 'reproduction'/
the last 2 characters are the last row on the left.

Now we know the bowl isn't worth anything and probably this drawing isn't either. Oh well. Got any idea how this unique item should be listed? or shall I donate it?

You're right. He does look familiar.
It's probably a plate used in a restaraunt. I've heard of "celebrities", especially in the art world, leaving little sketches as a "gift" if they liked the experience.
I think that's what it is.
Now to figure out the autograph.....

I can't think of the character or actor name, but he also resembles one of the minor characters on the Sopranos. One of the older gangsters.
