Something new? I haven't opened these. Got 2 emails this AM: [email protected] Your eBay Reserve Price on (item name). Looked in my eBay messages and they aren't there, so I assume they are not legit. Anyone else had this kind of email?

I thought it might be a new feature, but got suspicious since there were bids on both items already and I didn't think you could revise a reserve after bids were placed.

Yes, it is a new feature on Ebay, you can lower your reserve price even when you have a bid on your item. What happens is the high bidders max gets lowered also.
