This small pitcher dates, I believe, from the late 1800's/early 1900's. In the dim recesses of my brain, I seem to remember that the "broccoli-like" surface has a specific name of some sort. Seems like it was a process or style...does anyone know? The pitcher is marked "Germany" on the bottom. Thanks for any help/info!

It belonged to the grandmother of an elderly friend of mine...she said something about coming over on the Titanic and this was the only thing she brought with her when she got in the lifeboat...At one time, it held a small chip from the iceberg...Would that add to its value?

I've always heard it called Elfinware. It dates to the early 20th Century. Probably about 1900-1925. Here's a piece similar to yours:

WOW, Carolyn...you're terrific! That's what it is...appreciate the help. The iceberg chip melted so guess the pitcher will have to stand "on its own"! Thanks again...I never cease to be amazed at the wealth of information available from the GREAT vendioans...
