I think this is Eisenberg, but not sure.
Took a chance because of the E.
Paid 10.00 for it, is it worth more that that?
I really need information & opinions.
It has one stone that is very dark, other than that it is in very nice condition.
What do the numbers mean & what are they for?

it's elegant, whatever it is! i keep meaning to get it together to go through all my "vintage" childhood jewelry and the stuff my mom and grandmother gave me. every time i see stuff like this, it makes me want to go root around the house and find it.

I would start looking, vintage. I was doing a search on Eisenberg & some of the pieces were going for over 300.00, but they were figural, like a ballet dancer...etc
One similar to this went for 80.00.

thanks for the tip, mcjane. i had a vague idea that the stuff might actually be worth something. i have it stashed in old cookie tins, in my childhood jewelry box, weirdo places, probably 4 or 5 stashes of the stuff.
the problem will be finding it...i moved last year, my house sold suddenly and i had all of two weeks to get out but it was worth it because it was a good offer and i knew the people and knew it would go through at the bank. so...the garage is packed with stuff and there's still a whole storage unit full. i moved into a much smaller place on purpose, and i keep trying to figure out where i'm going to put all of these "things." i sent some off to auction and put a few things in my eBay store, where they did well.

I know just what your going through, same here.
We lost our old house to a hurricane & have moved into the new one & everything is still packed away, don't know where anything is.
Funny thing is we are doing just fine without the old stuff. I should unpack & start selling it, but just can't seem to get started.
I looked at your auction & can't critique it because it looks fine to me as is. In fact it looks great.
There are some sellers here that come up with some good ideas for improvement, they are real pro's at it & then I think....Why didn't I think of that.

I believe it is Eisenberg. I have had Eisenberg marked with an E in script and I could swear I've read of a mark of E in block. It looks like Eisenberg as well and the fact that it is numbered - I think you have a winner. I'll give you $20.00 for it right now!!! LOL just kidding
Price will depend on size - how big is it?
I'm going to check another book I have for the E in block mark.

Mark: E. [block print mark]--c.1942-1945--may have been used later than 1945 if space for mark was limited.

I knew I had seen it - what book is that from Cheryl? I didn't find it in any of mine.
mcjane - it's hard to say what you can get for it on ebay. Price seem to be pretty good so I would start it as low as I could stand to let it go for and see what happens. JMHO
Good Luck & good buy
