I have acquired a large (I mean HUGE) lot of very valuable books. Does ebay bring high fixed prices on valuable books? Obviously it depends on what you have, I know. Has anyone tried selling on abebooks.com? They seem expensive. Any tips, tricks or ideas are greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hello,
Looks like you know your product and that is good.(Many don't)
I would suggest a trial run of a few books on ebay and see what happens.Expect about 1/2 what Ab's etc list for. (Old book buyers are pretty sharp crowd)
Really good books do well but their are piles of books listed that are basically junk. (I can buy hard bound books until the cows come home for 1.00 each locally and NO postage.)
When you start out you will have no following but give it a few weeks and you will.
Be flexible, watch your S/H costs, List S/H up front as flat rate (USA) and you should do fine if they are REALLY premo books.
I personally love old books but I do not resell I keep them. However many of my friends do sell books.
