Check out the feedback of this seller! The majority of the last 2,000+ transactions is item not received. I find it simply amazing this hasn't been in the news.

I find it amazing that bidders don't check feedback of the sellers. Here I was worried when I got my first neg. LOL

I especially liked the following feedback that was left for this seller:
"i hate you. this was a father's day present. you screwed me over.see you in hell"
Can't imagine WHY they haven't been suspended.

Anyone who screws that many people doesn't need to be suspended, he needs to be shot. He's most likely in jail by now. The last feedback he left was in July, so he's been out of business for awhile.

My sister got burned by them. At the time she bought a book on half.com this summer they had some negs for not shipping quick enough but way more positives. Right after she made the purchase the negs started to build. I think the few positives scattered in must be for old transactions. PayPal finally gave her a full refund saying the sellers was no longer registered.

I guess with business slowing down eBay wont suspend anyone with that much volume! It really is disgusting that they havent shut him down. In the long run it hurts both eBay and all the good sellers on eBay when folks like this are allowed to continue on eBay. I guess Meg is just to busy buying other company's to actually pay any attention to running the current business (other than into the ground!)

Ebay needs to zap that account immediately and sweep it under the rug. They better hope a young, aggresive reporter with the N.Y. or L.A. Times doesn't get wind of this disgrace and decide to use it to shoot for a Pulitzer.

That's correct Jack. But I know that no one on these boards would email the L.A. Times and give them a link to this crook's feedback page, because Ebay will handle it in their own way

I find it simply amazing that the seller isn't NARU'd!
On their half.com homepage it states "This seller is on vacation.
Please check back later to browse and shop their entire inventory." (on vacation?!?!?)
On their eBay About Me page it states: "Note: This Store seller is currently away. Please add this Store to your Favorites and come again."

If more people would file for refunds through Half, he'd probably be shut down. Of course, most buyers probably don't realize that they CAN file, so....

....so e bay is within their own guidelines,,,no one files, so therefore he is doing nothing out of the ordinary and business is as usual,,,sweet deal for e bay and the fees just keep rolling in,,,,,,

I am almost sure by NOW e bay IS aware of this,,,,,,tick , tock, tick ,tock,,,,,,
St, you get the pulitzer.....
Basically E bay is collaberating with him to defraud,,,,they Certainly KNOW who he is and have looked at him many times,,,,he IS a HIGH profile seller and THEY are WELL aware of that......
Ebay,,,,protecting the e bay Community, hahahaha, they only protect themselves from off site deals and ANYTHING else they feel will TAKE money from THIER pocket! SCREW the members! they care LESS! proven too many time now......

This sellers website is down..as in kaput with a placekeeping page.
They are/were a major textbook presence on-line but with some shady issues in their past.
The parent company is still running a college oriented site that rents mini-fridges and micro-waves to the college crowd.
Safe to say, I think this "vacation" is permanent.

In his about me page it says they only accept Paypal - so at least the buyers will be able to get their money back.
Hope the Times doesn't get a hold of it - it just makes us all look bad - another Ebay fraud issue - bad for business.
Disgusting he is not NARU'd.

They are getting 5-10 negs per day. I wonder how many people are still waiting for their item, and haven't given feedback yet.
Most of the half.com sales seems to be $15-$25 range, but some are $40+ and some over $100.

His feedback is only 92.9% - bad but not that bad. Maybe he died and still had 100,000 listings in half.com.

I doubt the seller died. There seems to be about 1 positive for every 5 negs, which seems to indicate the seller is actually shipping a few of the items they have received payment for.

Actually if you subtract last months numbers from the 6 months you get a 98.1% positive feedback. So something happened all of a sudden. Given he was selling 5000 items a month I bet all the recent positives are ppl who are just slow to give feedback. Maybe he lived in New Orleans and was flooded out. Anyways it looks like no massive fraud, just someone who dissapeared in the last month.

Toben, I was thinking the same thing about him being in New Orleans. I couldn't find his location though. That would make sense, Ebay allowing him to stay on.
Took a look at your website - great design and layout! My only suggestion would be to make your categories listing larger or more obvious.

I doubt it is because of being flooded out. Many of these negs are complaints for transactions that are 2 1/2 months old. Also, he abruptly stopped leaving feedback on July 12, which is about 2 1/2 months ago. It could be an illness, accident or death, but this hardly seems like a one person operation. There should be someone who could leave an explanation on the store page, or who could contact Ebay to possibly notify all winners whose merchandise had not yet shipped and make arrangements for Paypal to reverse all these payments.

If you subtract last months' feedback from the last 6 months, the rating is under 80% (~16,100 pos, ~1,700 nuetrals, ~3,200 negs)

You are correct I got the 98% number buy reversing the last 6 months off his las 12 months. My bad. Anyway he was a good seller before it fell apart 2 1/2 months ago.
