I quit using Outlook years ago. Got sick of all the smutt e-mails and viruses by the ton.I like Yahoo mail.

you're not infected if you didn't download it. but a good precaution to take, if you're using outlook express, is to go into "tools" and then "options," then "security" tab. check off the fourth box down that says "do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus." apply. close outlook. next time you open it, this setting is in effect and will prevent you from accidentally downloading any attachment.
if you later find you must download an attachment from your sister, etc., you uncheck that box long enough to save the attachments you're expecting, and then check it off again. be sure to hit the "apply" button at the bottom of the page for the settings to take effect. close. next time you reopen it, the security settings are in effect. http://stores.ebay.com/postcards-postcards?refid=store http://www.vintagepostcards.org

vintage - i use AOL as my primary address because I have had it forever - one GOOD thing about AOL is that you HAVE to download attachments and even have to click to enable links and images..spam filter usually is very good too.
I have had cable for 5 years or so and gave up trying to change email addies to match all the reincarnations of the service (Roadrunner, ATT, comcast - i think i forgot one or two of them)- I don't even know my password anymore!
I do have several old yahoo accounts and even hotmail/MSN accounts - just got gmail and it looks about the best to come along yet. The storage is "only" 2500 MB - they say you probably will never have to delete a message!

I received this too and immediately thought I would ask glassgrl before doing anything with it ! I am so glad I keep checking here for the latest. I also have gmail and LOVE it! It is easy to follow the "he said, she said" route of Ebay emails. Funny thing with it though, they keep adding to my invites and want me to send an invitation to ALL my friends. They now think my "friends" number 100 and are growing daily

I use MSN Hot Mail & all incoming email is screened by Trend A/V. Plus I have the latest version of Norton A/V.
