I DO believe,,things are going DOWNhill,,,,then again, I MAY be wrong? I think, the THRILL is GONE.....that's why I,,,,, moved......and moved on....
Craigslist.Org is the NEW frontier,,,,,back to regular ole Newspaper ads. BUT in the ELECTRONIC Age......No paper,,,,and we SAVE MORE and MORE trees,,,,SAVE the TREES from becoming NEWSPAPER..... Electronics ads VS,,,,Print in Newspapers is killing Billions of dollars for the tree killers.....They HATE the internet,,,,,,,As proved by MANY NewsPAPERS.........
Keep on keepin' on.

Hey Jack,
I have a chance to buy an Isuzu 1990 22' deisel box van/truck. Only has 144K miles and they are asking 4K for it. It is running but needs some brake work. It is coming up for sale due to the health of the owner.
Does it sound like a good deal??
I could finally put my ebay goodies in movable storage. I currently have my stuff stored in a 20' car hauler and think this would be a chance to do a switch to something that I could use in the future since we are planning on moving in the next year or so.

Hi Jack, Don't know the full specs yet. I can tell you tomorrow.
A friend of ours who is in the freight business says it is a good deal. He has seen it and knows the people who are selling. He says the brake work it needs is minor and is willing to help us with the job.
Truck was in service up until last month when the owner got ill.
The only thing I don't like about it is I know it has 22" tires. I KNOW those are expensive!
It also only has ramps, but that's no problem since I found a power lift in Dad's stuff while I was doing the farm inventory. You would love to play in his garage!
We are going to check it out in the morning. Looks like net prices for the truck average between 6 and 7K. I think I will try to talk him down a little.

I believe ebay bought the 25% stake in criagslist simple to control their listing policy and business model (basically prevent them from competing with ebay on any feasible level).

Yes Estate and Jack. I not only bought one, I bought 2 ! Anyone need a truck?
They are ugly as sin and HUGE! 1990 6 cylinder Isuzu diesels with Allison transmission and a 24' box. Closest thing I can find on the web is priced at $7500.
I've been busy the last 2 days moving them home and checking them out. Now I have to unload a 20ft haulmark car hauler into one and hopefully sell the other to pay for my follie.
and Jack, I know diesel is expensive, but it is much cheaper to move one 24' truck than it is to make 20 trips, a pickup load at a time.
