If you are new to vendio and just set up your account I don't think your photo's will import directly from ebay. You have to upload your photo's to vendio through either the online version, bulk upload feature through windows or using SMPro offline version.

To upload using the vendio online version just click on the Image Hosting link on the left toolbar and click on upload pictires. If using the bulk upload feature for windows you will need to download the file from vendio which allows your computer to interface with vendio. Or if you download the SMPro program which allows you to create listing's offline and then upload your listing's in bulk you can upload your pictures from there as well.

I have never personally tried to import pictures from ebay directly so I am not sure it can be done.

Any pictures you upload to your Vendio account have to originate from a drive on the computer you are using to upload from.

Where are your images currently hosted? I seem to remember that Vendio had a utility to automatically import images from eBay and a few other sites (unfortunately not Spare Dollar which was what I needed.) Post your question on a Vendio Services board to see if someone from customer service can help you.

Well I did a little searching in the help menu's for you and here's what I found about importing exesting listing's. Looks like it should import ebay (IPIX) images whatever a IPIX image is. Have you tried importing listing's yet? If not go to Sales Manager and click on import listing's under the Sales Manager tab. Give it a few minutes while the system downloads all your current listing's from ebay and see if the pictures get transfered. If not I would click the Help icon on the top right and send a email to Vendio and ask their tech support team and see if they can help. Bellow is a copy of what should happen on a import listing.

What listing information will get imported?

Depending on the venue, varying amounts of the listing information may be imported into Sales Manager. For Amazon and Yahoo! listings, only basic information (title, bids, quantity, price, high bidder) will be imported.For eBay listings, the following will be imported:

* Listing Title
* Listing Type (standard auction/Dutch auction/fixed price)
* Quantity of items
* Starting Bid
* Reserve Price
* Duration
* Categories (first and second)
* "Features" such as bold/highlight/gallery, etc.)
* "Location" (city, state)
* eBay Checkout instructions and shipping terms
* "Allow buyer to edit or enter total payment amount in Checkout" setting
* Some "payment types accepted" (specifically: PayPal*, Money Order, Personal Check, COD, "other" [but not the "other" description])
* Shipping (including "import cost", "see item description" flag, destination and all regions)
* Buy It Now / Fixed Price amount
* Description (see below for notes)
* Images (see below for notes)

*You must enter your PayPal account information in the Global Preferences section of the My Account tab. This information will not be imported automatically.

Some details about importing eBay listings to keep in mind:

* Vendio currently supports importing images from the following image hosts: Andale, AuctionHelper, AuctionWorks, Auctiva, ChannelAdvisor, and eBay (IPIX). If you are using a different image host, you may easily upload your images with our Image Uploader - up to 15 at once!
* Images will be imported to your Vendio imagehosting; listings will automatically reference Vendio hosted images!
* Images will be automatically resized if very large, for faster load times when imported listings are relaunched.
* Promotional text/banners for other sites will typically be removed from imported listings
* Counters will typically be removed from imported listings
* Vendio Winning Bidder Notifications will not be automatically sent for imported listings, even if your default preference is to send them automatically. You'll have to do some light editing of the listing's details before being able to send a WBN.

How do I relist/edit imported eBay listings?

Once you've imported eBay listings, you can use these as a basis for launching new auctions. You won't be able to directly relist them or do Post-Sale Management without a little bit of effort, however.

To relist closed auctions:
Select an auction to relist, click 'Relist'. Click 'Edit', make any desired changes, and click 'Save'. Then, simply schedule for relist/relaunch as usual. The 'edit' step is required the first time on imported auctions to merge any "missing" values from preferences into the listing.
To list another copy of a live imported auction
Click 'Copy' next to the active listing in Sales Manager to make a copy of the auction in the Pending Listings panel. 'Edit' the pending item, and then schedule for launch as usual.

To perform Post-Sale-Management on an imported auction
To send a Winning Bidder Notification (WBN) on an imported auction, you must manually edit the WBN before sending. Click the 1-9 "keys" next to the listing in the Closed panel, and then click the 'Edit WBN' icon () next to step 1, "Winning Bidder Notification". Edit the WBN as desired (set payment, shipping, and other options) and then click 'Email WBN to Winner'. The 'edit' step is required for imported auctions to merge any "missing" values from preferences into the listing. Other Post-Sale tasks can be completed as normal without an extra step.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Any graphics (templates, etc.) that were in your auction when it was imported, will now be embedded in the listing description. If you choose to apply a graphical Vendio template to an imported auction, you should manually remove the old template from the description first. Be sure to 'preview' your listing after changing the template!
