Hypothetically, if someone were to leave Vendio and go elsewhere (no sales plan at all), are we allowed to still post here?

I'm doing it. I signed up on the pay as you go plan, with the $2.95 minimum image hosting fee, and then turned off image hosting.
As far as I can tell, I don't think I'll be charged anything, but I haven't been on this ID for a month yet. My old ID was here for years and never paid just for posting.
I don't think Vendio minds not being a customer. I still have a credit card registered here, and as long as I keep coming back, there is a chance I'll start using their services.
I have in fact, tried them every few months off and on, so they actually do make money once in a while from me.

My understanding is that you can lurk here and read the threads but you cannot post messages unless you're registered with Vendio, which means giving them a credit card #. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, you have to give them a CC number. That doesn't mean it actually costs anything to post here.

Haven't used Vendio since ... it was Auction Watch. Does that date me or what? Amusingly enough, for years I have received a Vendio email bill for 45c, too small to charge to the credit card I apparently still have on file. Guess that keeps me a Vendioite with ability to post; reckon when it expires, I'll have to file a new CC.
