I just got a ring that is marked OB 14K and then what looks like a Maltese Cross. I think it is Edwardian. Anyone know this mark? It has a really pretty yellow stone.

OB means Original Box with collectible figures n such, not when used as a marking on jewelry.

With jewelry - OB means Outer Band

Speaking of names - didn't a lot of companies put their initials on their jewelry - both before and after the 14k?

It appears to be all white gold.
Anyone know a website on gold marks for jewelry.
I may post a photo later today.
