I have a new in box Poulan Chainsaw on auction. The TOS describes it to a T, including the size of the gas engine. The Heading has the Model number very plainly written. Yester I received an email asking me the size of the engine & the Model number. GRRRR!

You can tell him the model is a Corvette, and the engine is 400 HP. I suspect he read the description and the only reason he wants an answer from you is to harvest your email address.

Which is why I block my email address when I answer fools like this through the ask seller a question system on ebay. Thank god for the email address block.

A good reply would be (after checking to block your email address in the reply).

Dear *****,

The information you are looking for is clearly stated in the title and description of the listing. If you can not read it perhaps you should either invest in a new pair of eyeglasses or a Websters New World Dictionary. If neither of these help then you have larger problems then I can suggest a remedy for in a email. Thank you for your interest.

Cordially,
******

And then of course block their ID from bidding.

Sanmar...On second thought, if the guy is that dumb, you can tell him it is gently used. It was used to cut down 3 old growth Sequoia trees without a Federal permit, and the Sierra Club has placed a $1000.00 bounty on that saw. It's a great investment and sure to grow in value. If the final price goes over $500.00, you can offer to include a 5 lb package of frozen Spotted Owl meat when you ship.
